Privacy notice

Last updated 30 October 2026

QuidRadar is an independent UK website comparing credit cards. This notice explains what information is collected when you use the site and why.

Who we are and how to contact us

QuidRadar (quidradar.co.uk) is responsible for this website. For any privacy question, email hello@quidradar.co.uk.

What we collect

  • No accounts, no forms. You can't register on QuidRadar, and we don't ask for your name, email address or financial details. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and delete them when they're no longer needed. Our eligibility checker page only explains how issuers' own checkers work; it doesn't collect your data.
  • Cookieless traffic statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies or local storage and doesn't build a profile of you. Cloudflare processes basic technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.
  • Optional analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics only if you choose Accept in our cookie banner. If you choose Reject or ignore the banner, no Google Analytics cookies are set. See our cookie policy.
  • Your consent choice. We remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics in your browser's local storage, so we don't ask again on every page.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

Delivering and securing the site, and cookieless statistics, are based on our legitimate interest in running a reliable website. Optional analytics cookies are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Links to card issuers

When you select "Visit issuer site", you leave QuidRadar and go to the issuer's own website. Their privacy policy applies there. We don't pass your details to issuers and we don't receive commission.

How long data is kept

Analytics data is kept in aggregated form. Google Analytics data is kept for the shortest retention period available in its settings.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct or erase personal data and to object to processing. Because we don't hold accounts, we usually hold no personal data that identifies you unless you've emailed us. To make a request or ask a question about your data, email hello@quidradar.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
